Our Mission

We exist to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching all that Jesus commanded as his witnesses by the authority of Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit to Bailey, Mississippi, the United States of America and the world.

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Our Values

Founded upon Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 2:40-47, these are the biblical values that guide us in accomplishing the mission

worship

Worship is the goal of the church. The content and means of our worship must speak to God's transcendence and imminence with particular focus upon the gospel. We seek to develop a culture of worship that extends beyond Sunday into daily life.

teach

The content of our teaching is no less than the Bible itself along with the Westminster Confession and catechisms. The aim of teaching is transformation (not information) founded upon scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit. The church is also to equip its people to be able to engage those they are in relationship with for the sake of the gospel, so the teaching must be geared toward application.

nurture

The church is by nature a community of relationships. Thus the church seeks to meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of its members.

reach

Through various means we seek to instill a passion for God that results in the spread of the gospel to the lost and disconnected people across the street and around the world.
